Who builds Extraly
Extraly is built and maintained by Eugene Melnik, its founder, together with a small team of engineers. We come from a software and financial-tooling background, and we build Extraly the way we'd want a tool we rely on ourselves to work: fast, accurate, and honest about its limits.
We're a small, independent company — not a venture-funded enterprise sales operation. That means no implementation projects, no mandatory demos, and no per-bank setup fees. You can upload a document and see what Extraly does in under a minute.
Why we built it
Finance and operations teams lose hours every week acting as a copy-paste bridge between a document and a spreadsheet. Older tools either only read clean digital PDFs (not scans or photos) or demand a hand-built template for every new layout that silently breaks the moment a bank or vendor changes their format.

How we handle your documents
You're trusting us with financial documents, so we treat security as a first-order feature, not a footnote:
- Encryption: all data is encrypted with AES-256 in transit and at rest.
- Automatic deletion: documents are deleted after your configured retention window (default 90 days, adjustable from 1 to 365).
- No training on your data: uploaded documents are never used to train AI models.
- GDPR-compliant: data processing agreements are available on request for firms with strict requirements — see our privacy policy.
